Many high school athletes want to continue their careers and play at the college level. Of course, the dominant college programs, with huge stadiums and games shown on TV, are widely considered the ultimate goal, and many good high school players make those rosters.

Think about it, every college football program fills out a roster to field a competitive team with offense, defense, and special teams, and many of them carry upwards of 125 players.
